The Role:
As a Journeyman RV Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide variety of recreational vehicles. Whether it's a simple service or a major repair, you will provide customers with the best possible service, ensuring their RVs are safe, comfortable, and road-ready.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic tests on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems in motorhomes, travel trailers, and fifth wheels
Troubleshoot and repair all types of RV issues, including electrical systems, water systems, propane systems, air conditioning, heating, and more
Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) to ensure vehicles meet industry standards
Install and repair RV appliances, fixtures, and accessories
Ensure all repairs comply with safety regulations and industry standards
Provide excellent customer service through clear communication and efficient problem-solving
Keep up with new RV technology, trends, and systems
Maintain detailed records of repairs, service history, and inventory of parts used
What We’re Looking For:
Journeyman Certification in RV Technician or related field
Strong knowledge of RV systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repairs, and mechanical systems
Proven experience in the RV industry working with motorhomes, travel trailers, and/or fifth wheels
Expertise in RV diagnostics and repair procedures
Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
Customer-focused with outstanding communication and service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
